Freedom FLEX Checking
A flexible checking account that allows you to spend as you see fit and waive the $5.00 fee when certain criteria are met.

Required Criteria:
VISA® Debit Card Activity
- Complete a minimum of fifteen (15) posted VISA® Debit Card Point of Sale (POS) Transactions by the last business day of each month
Additional Criteria - Meet one (1) of the following:
Direct Deposit
-Receive one (1) or more posted ACH Credits monthly (minimum of $500.00 cumulative monthly)
ACH Payments
- Send two (2) or more posted ACH Debits monthly (excluding electronic checks)
ECB Companion Account
- The Primary Owner of the Freedom Flex Account must also be the Primary Owner of a qualifying account that maintains a minimum daily balance of $1,000.00
- Qualifying Companion Accounts Include: Savings Account, Money Market Deposit Account and High Yield Money Market Deposit Account
Account Service Charge and Paper Statement fee waived until primary account holder is 24 years old. This account type is limited one per primary account holder if under 24 years of age.**
Freedom BOOST Checking
A checking account that can BOOST your interest rate up 2.00% APY on first $25,000.00 when criteria are met.

Freedom NOW Checking
Our Freedom NOW Checking account is an interest bearing account that offers limited check writing, a free VISA® Debit Card, eStatements, Online Banking and ECB Mobile app. This account does not incur a monthly service charge unless the daily balance of the account falls below $1,000.00. If the daily balance falls below $1,000.00, a $5.00 monthly service charge is assessed. Open this account with a $100.00 minimum opening deposit and begin earning interest today.
Freedom 55 Checking
If you are 55 years or older, we have an account to remind you of the simpler times. Our Freedom 55 Checking account is designed to make your life easier with these special account features:
- No monthly service charge
- No service fees on cashier checks or money orders

- $100.00 minimum opening deposit.
Effective September 1, 2026:
- Freedom Flex verbiage: Effective September 1, 2026, foreign ATM surcharge fees may be reimbursed up to $12.00 per statement cycle, provided all Freedom Flex qualifying criteria are met. The reimbursement will occur on the day the statement is generated. Accounts that do not meet the required eligibility criteria will receive no reimbursement. Reimbursement amounts are limited to actual surcharges incurred and are subject to eligibility requirements.
