Ladder CD
Do you have at least $100,000.00 to invest? Then we have a Certificate of Deposit product designed just for you! The Ladder CD offers a blend of liquidity and rate maximization. |
CD laddering is a way to protect against fluctuations in interest rates while giving the security of knowing that there will be access to a portion of the funds within a relatively short time frame. The Ladder CD Program involves investing in four (4) Certificates of Deposit with maturities every 182 days. The initial investment will have staggered maturities of 182 days, 12 months, 18 months, and 24 months. After the initial four investments, you may make additional investments in any variety of the four maturities to fit your needs. Each CD investment auto-renews into a 24 month CD to maintain the ladder. |

CDARS
CDARS is the Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service. It's the easiest, most convenient way to enjoy full FDIC insurance on deposit amounts larger than $250,000.
One Bank
Everything is handled through our bank. Your large deposit is broken into smaller amounts and placed with other banks that are members of a special network. Then, those member banks issue CDs in amounts under $250,000, so that your entire investment is eligible for FDIC insurance. By working with just one bank - our bank - you can receive insurance from many.
One Rate
You earn one rate on your entire investment-so you can forget about multiple rate negotiations and the need to consolidate multiple disbursement checks.
One Statement
You receive one regular account statement including all of your CDs, along with their issuing banks, maturity dates, interest earned and other details. With CDARS, there's no need to manually consolidate statements, track changing collateral values or use private surety bonds.
